K-Sniper Challenge 3D is a free and exciting action game inspired by the hit Netflix series Squid Game. However, in this app, you play as one of the masked guards: men in masks and pink jumpsuits who eliminate players who fail in the games.

Basically, K-Sniper Challenge 3D is not different from Hitman Sniper Assassins or Sniper Gun 3D. What sets this new shooting game from HOMA GAMES is its premise, one that draws inspiration from a hit series and one that places you as an extra. You’re not a hero nor a big bad–just one of the guards.

A day at work

If you’re a fan of Squid Game, you’re definitely familiar with the premise of the series and the background of these guards. That’s all there is. There’s no additional backstory to expect or anything else to uncover. You’re one of the guards, you shoot people who fail. This, however, creates a refreshing experience, especially after the range of games that simulate being a player in the game.

The graphics are made more vividly colorful than it was in the series, which is pleasing and exciting to the eyes as you play through the levels. More than visual appeal, colors also play a role in the gaming experience. Each round, targets are highlighted in red, with the player number above their heads. This helps you distinguish but be careful though, shoot the wrong target and you fail.

Lastly, stages are of varying difficulty, and not in increasing order. The “Red Light, Green Light” round is notoriously difficult because you only have 10 seconds to clear away the failed players before the game continues and you fail in your task. The only nuisance in this app is the constant presence of ads, as they appear in each of the levels you play in.

Definite green light

For fans of challenging shooters, K-Sniper Challenge 3D is a must-try. Lack of backstory or annoying ads aside, it has great graphics and the color schemes make it easier. Still, it manages not to be boring by having really challenging levels. This variety alone makes the game playable a couple of times. If you’re a fan of shooting games or the Squid Game series, this one is recommended.
